• The only dynamically assigned IP addresses (esp. dynamically assigned dial-up connections) our mail servers want to talk to are our own. Plain and simple. You're not accused of being a spammer, but the fact is that spammers prefer to use dial-up connections to send unwanted e-mail. If you feel victimized by this, you're a victim of the spamming industry, just like we are. If your Internet connection is based on dynamic IP assignments, please send your outgoing mail through your ISP's smtp server; if you're running a mail server on a dynamic IP address, make your ISP's smtp server your smarthost/relayserver/nexthop. If these terms mean nothing to you, you should not be running a mailserver in the first place. If you're on a fixed IP (e.g. you're running a mail server on a static IP address) and you're blocked by our DynaBlocker, chances are that your IP address is located within a netblock full of dynamic IP addresses (which is a sign of poor network and/or systems management!) Please contact abuse@abuse.wirehub.net and state the IP address that was rejected. We will see what we can do. Please bear in mind that a mailserver SHOULD be recognizable as such, using an indicative PTR record, mirroring the A record of your static IP address, like this:

  2.1 Inconsistent, Missing, or Bad Data
  
     Every Internet-reachable host should have a name.  The consequences
     of this are becoming more and more obvious.  Many services available
     on the Internet will not talk to you if you aren't correctly
     registered in the DNS.
  
     Make sure your PTR and A records match.  For every IP address, there
     should be a matching PTR record in the in-addr.arpa domain.  If a
     host is multi-homed, (more than one IP address) make sure that all IP
     addresses have a corresponding PTR record (not just the first one).
     Failure to have matching PTR and A records can cause loss of Internet
     services similar to not being registered in the DNS at all.  Also,
     PTR records must point back to a valid A record, not a alias defined
     by a CNAME.  It is highly recommended that you use some software
     which automates this checking, or generate your DNS data from a
     database which automatically creates consistent data.
  

  Most of the ranges in the dynablock.wirehub.net database are /24 ranges (C class networks). If you have a /24 which includes dial-ups and servers, please send a (polite) message stating your netblock(s) to abuse@abuse.wirehub.net. We will re-scan your netblock(s) in greater detail to exclude anything that's not a dial-up IP within a few hours. Use words like demand/court/lawyer/attorney/litigation to make this re-scan take several days.

  This is a dump of the current DynaBlock zonefile. Note that IP addresses are printed in reverse, so IP 11.22.33.44 will show up as 44.33.22.11.
